Volunteering on Kibbutz Samar is a special experience and volunteers are an important part of the Kibbutz Samar community. The volunteer situation is very dynamic and changes according to availability of work and rooms. At Kibbutz Samar they can’t give you an answer too far in advance, so you should try contacting them only 1-2 months prior to your planned arrival.
It’s important to note that at Kibbutz Samar they take volunteers only from age 23 and up. They require commitment to stay for a minimum of 6 months and maximum 1 year and can’t take families as volunteers. Also, they don’t have guest houses and can’t host you for a holiday.
