I’m Romi and although I’m not a born and bred kibbutznik, I love kibbutz life and am always happy to share it with others. I also love to share my love for Italian cuisine.
I was born in Padua, northern Italy, to two Israeli parents.
I returned to Israel in first grade, and after my military service I moved to Rome for a decade, where I developed my culinary knowledge (and especially my appetite). I studied at “A Tavola con lo Chef” cooking school and did my internships at family trattorias.
I moved back to Israel and now I’m a mother of two and live on Kibbutz Magal. I have worked at dozens of kitchens, hosted thousands of people in my kitchen workshops and share my recipes on my blog. My love for Italian cuisine has only grown over the years.
My goal is to make authentic Italian cuisine accessible to everyone. Join me at my home on the kibbutz for a pasta and Italian food workshop. I love to share my knowledge, the background of the dishes, to the small details so that you can have complete success at home.
Buon appetito, Romi.
