My name is Lital. I was born and raised in Ein Harod. My mother came from France to Ulpan (intensive Hebrew language program) and my father from the city as a hired worker.

I think that in many ways I was fortunate to have a childhood on the kibbut in the company of many kids, a pool and an education that included a lot of hands-on work.

But Ein Harod is also a kibbutz impregnated with culture and during a period of survival they established a museum. The festive art, poetry and music have always been very significant in Ein Harod.

There are two wonderful museums in Ein Harod that you can visit, an active dining room, a children’s club, a pool, cultural events, an archive and more.

If you want to experiment and draw on textile-colored canvas bags you are welcome to visit my studio. I like to encourage people to find some private demon who wants to emerge.

I create and sell original JINN shirts. JINN (genie) is a demon (Arabic), supernatural entity which can be either good or evil. The hand-painted T-shirts are a ready to wear original piece of art that’s both frightening and funny. As an artist, I see the anonymity of these T shirts part of my practice, in which my painting transform it from a character-less object into a protective talisman

In addition to painting, I also deal with “therapeutic dance” contents  inspired by North-African demons exorcism rituals.

Welcome to visit me in my studio on the kibbutz.
