Kibbutz Netiv Halamed Heh, or “Netivale” for short, is located in the center of the country in the Ella Valley. The kibbutz, which manufactured one of the most well-known water bars in Israel called Tami (owned by Strauss today), has a strong community that is involved extensively in social, cultural and agricultural activities.
The name of the kibbutz, “Netiv” (meaning path) and “Halamed Heh” (of the 35), perpetuates the courage of a convoy of 35 soldiers who went out during the War of Independence to strengthen the detached Gush Etzion and all fell in battle. Beyond commemorating the warriors, Kibbutz Netiv HaLeh also continues to perpetuate the spirit of creation, doing so with entrepreneurship and today opens its gates to convoys of a different kind … of tourists.
