In the old dining hall of Kibbutz Geshur, in the Southern Golan Heights, facing the Sea of Galilee, is the Fass Brewhouse. Brothers Hagai and Or Fass established their dream brewhouse as a family project in a warm and homely atmosphere.
In 2010, the brothers began brewing beer at their parents’ home on the kibbutz, and after about a year and a half when it became too crowded, they began to build the brewhouse, which later became a local brewery and pub.
Their boutique handmade beer is produced with love and care, using raw products from Europe and pure local water from the Golan. The brewery produces three types of beer:
FassWheat – A light and gentle wheat beer – 5.6%. FassLager – A rudy Lager beer, rich in malt flavors – 5.6%. FassPorter – A dark English-style Porter beer with deep roasted flavors – 4.8%. In addition, sometimes the brothers toy with brewing “special” beers.
Along with the selection of handmade beers, food is served and frequent live entertainment on the breweries small stage.
The brewery is open Wednesday and Thursday from 20:30, Friday 12:00-16:00 and Saturdays from 20:30.
