Volunteering on Kibbutz Neot Smadar is a unique experience that invites you to stop, to breath, to adapt, to join and observe yourself. As a volunteer you will join a learning community that focuses on cooperation and creativity in daily life. During the working days, the volunteering experience allows you to explore what it means to live together as co-learners, observing the everyday activities and relationships.
The Kibbutz Neot Smadar interest in relationships extends to the environment through organic farming, desert architecture, water recycling, Art work and more. You will have the chance to participate in some of these activities.
In the Neot Smadar community there are 150 members (families and singles), and about 60 volunteers aged 21-45, most of them Israelis. Most of the time there is also a group of 5-10 international volunteers, that explore a fresh perspective on life here together with us.
