Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh is located in the Negev desert in southern Israel. Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh is a long-standing kibbutz that derives its history and values from even older kibbutzim. The kibbutz was founded in 1947 and two years later, its location was relocated to where it has been ever since.
The kibbutz was founded by 120 pioneers who came from three different Palmach training groups – Beit Hashita, Holata and Gvat.
Over the years, kibbutz members have come from all youth movements in Israel and abroad, so when you are strolling through the kibbutz you’ll hear a variety of languages, including French and Spanish.
Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh’s economy is based on industry, agriculture, chicken coops, tourism – and the kibbutz is also part owner of the “Desert Oasis” spa and hot tubs.
Dozens of families enjoy a peaceful and collaborative lifestyle near the desert. Kibbutz Mashabei Sadeh is a great starting point for trips in the area.
