On the edge of the Southern Golan heights, perched atop an escarpment dropping steeply 2,500 feet down to the Sea of Galilee, is Kibbutz Kfar Haruv. Established in 1973, this small kibbutz with a population of 421 (2018), boasts remarkable vistas to Mt. Hermon in the north and breathtaking sunsets over Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee to the west.
Dairy farming, agriculture, and light manufacturing produce a modest profit and quiet life for the Kibbutzniks of Kfar Haruv.
