Product Description

As of Feb. 2024, the Gaataon Pub located on Kibbutz Gaaton in the Western Galilee has been closed. The Gaaton Pub was also referred to as “Mekomi” (in Hebrew – “The Local”), and had a charming view and a unique kibbutz atmosphere. The pub was established in 1987 and was in full swing until 2023.

Apart from being a happy kibbutz pub open to the public, where you could drink and enjoy a wonderful kibbutz atmosphere, The “Mekomi” was also an event space for small to large groups hosting varied events such as birthdays, Bar / Bat mitzvahs, conferences, employee parties, social events, graduation parties, lectures, performances and more.

The “Mekomi” could accommodate up to 200 people inside and up to 200 people outside.

In addition, the “Mekomi” had a traveling beer cart that can be booked for private events together with a bartender who would pour you cold beer from the keg.
